Mercat de Mercats 2017

The eighth Mercat de Mercats edition was a success.


Catedral square was crowded by people who wanted to know what Barcelona markets sell.














But it is not only an event for selling and buying but also, and it is the part I like the most, it has a teaching part.

At "Artistes de Mercat", during the whole weekend, there were different professionals who explained their daily work, as Xavi Bosch, from Xarcuteries Bosch (Mercat del Clot), did making a summary of changes in his business; sausages and cheese.




At cooking class, there were a lot of showcookings and tasting that allowed to know some products and producers.





And, of course, we could enjoy of cooking from market restaurants and restaurants who give importance to fresh products found at markets.
